My Grandmother was in town so on Tuesday, we took a little trip down to Pflugerville (about 1 hour south of Temple) to visit. She was staying with her sister's daughter and her sister, Maxine for a couple of weeks to get away from the cold Iowa winter! Although, Texas has not been too warm this winter either, but at least we don't have all the snow and ice! It was fun to see her. We played for a while at Jane's house and then on to McDonald's for an appropriate Fat Tuesday meal! The boys did great and it was nice to just visit and catch up. Caleb as always was very sweet and personable, warming up to everyone and not afraid to go to anyone. Jacob was more difficult. It is always hard when they act up in public in ways that they normally don't at home. It is frustrating cuz you want them to be on their best behavior and yet at Jacob's age, he doesn't understand that. I also realize that when you push them past their normal nap time, that seems to bring out a different color in them! Overall, Jacob was good, but it still breaks my heart to see that obstinate side of him.
