19 1/2 Weeks - half way there!

I can't believe we are half way thru with this pregnancy. It has gone so fast already. We were so relieved to get a clean bill of health on the baby at 18 weeks! I continue to feel the baby move a great deal, much more than Jacob ever did, so that scares me for what is yet to come! ;-) It is wonderful to feel those kicks and have that gentle reminder of the precious life growing strong inside of me! I am so grateful and thankful to the Lord for another blessing in our lives!

Jacob's New Adventures

Jacob is 14.5 months.....soon to be 15 months!

His big accomplishment for the last couple of weeks has been an explosion in vocabulary. He has become quite vocal and not afraid to tell you what he sees or thinks. He has also acquired new signs including drink, drum, hat and outside in addition to please, more, food, and bath. I caught him riding the dog today, which surprisingly was tolerated by Raja. Every time he sees Raja he says "Woof Woof" but his favorite animal is the horse and he makes a great horsey noise!

He got a new car a few weeks ago and has enjoyed playing in that! I also found a little stroller for him at a garage sale so he can practice being a big brother! I have a feeling that will come with time after the baby is born. If only he know how much his world is going to be rocked...for the better!

Jacob continues to be a very healthy and happy toddler! He absolutely adores cars, truck, trains and planes. He loves to play outside on his slides and in his pool. He even has a little basketball hoop that he loves to shoot hoops in. He is very adaptable and easily entertained. I have so enjoyed getting to watch his personality emerge and develop over the last few months. He adores his daddy and loves playing with him! He certainly got his mommy's type A personality and impatience as well as his inability to sit still just like his daddy. Regardless, we love him dearly and can't wait for him to meet his little brother or sister!
