Toddler Version of Prayers

Every night we say several prayers before bed and it is quite funny that even Jacob's version of prayers are as egocentric as any toddler. I have recorded Jacob's version and then the Actual version. The funny parts are in the Hail Mary where he says "I'm Jesus" and in the Our Father where he says "Hallowed be my name". Bless his little heart for trying! ;-)

Jacob's Version: Hail Mary, full grace Lord with me, blessed thou amongst women, blessed fruit I'm Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother God, pray sinners, now our death. Amen

Actual Version: Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

Jacob's Version: Angel God my guardian dear, who God's love mitts me there. Ever night my side, rule guide. Amen

Actual Version: Angel of God, My Guardian dear to whom God's love, commits me near. Ever this night, be at my side to light and guard, rule and guide. Amen

Jacob's Version: Our Father, who art heaven. Hallowed be my name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, earth as is in heaven. Give us this daily bread, forgive us trespasses as we forgive those trespasseseses against us. Lead us not temptation, deliver us evil. Amen

Actual Version: Our Father who are in heaven. Hallowed by they name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen
